Websites for contractors that generate local leads
No-nonsense answers

Contractor FAQ

The questions contractors actually ask — and the straight answers. No sales fluff, no jargon.

Can't I just run Google Ads or buy leads from Angi or Thumbtack instead?

Paid ads and lead sites rent you traffic. The second you stop paying, the leads stop. And shared leads put you in a race to the bottom, bidding against three other guys for the same homeowner. A properly built website is an asset that works for you — it brings in exclusive inbound calls month after month, without paying per click.

How long does it actually take to show up on Google?

Getting the foundation set and your pages indexed takes days to a couple of weeks. Real local ranking traction usually starts building in 60 to 90 days, as Google validates your trade signals, service areas, and real job proof. Anyone promising page-one rankings in 48 hours is selling snake oil.

Do I have to write articles or send you technical stuff every week?

No. You're running a crew, not a media company. All we need from you is a couple of quick before-and-after photos from the job site and a short text about what was done. We turn that into search-ready, town-specific pages for you.

I already paid $2,000 for a website two years ago. Can it be saved, or is it a full rebuild?

Depends what's under the hood. If it's trapped in a bloated visual builder with bad code, tweaking it is like putting fresh paint on rotten wood. But if the domain and hosting are clean, we can keep the authority the site already earned, gut the bad structure, and replace it with clean, dedicated service pages.

What actually happens during the free site review?

A straight diagnostic of your live site. We check whether Google is actually indexing your pages, test your page speed on mobile, look at how your service towns are structured, and tell you why you might be invisible. No hard sell — just a clear report of what's broken and what it takes to fix it.

What if I want to cancel? Am I locked in?

No. Evergreen is $750 to set up, then $350/month, and you can cancel at any time — no minimum, no penalty, no awkward breakup call. While you're subscribed, the site stays live and watched. If you'd rather walk away with the site, email us and we'll work out a fair number. And your domain, company name, and brand were always yours — we never hold those.

Another company told me I can take my site with me anytime. Is that true?

Technically, yes. What that actually means: they email you a zip file of static pages and wish you luck. Those files aren't a website yet — somebody still has to buy hosting, point your domain at it, set up SSL, and rebuild the contact forms, the review system, the dashboard, everything that made it work and bring in calls. That's a whole project, and it costs real money with whoever you hire next. We do it differently: if you ever want out, you can buy out the site, and we treat that like onboarding a real paying customer. We get the whole thing live and working on your own hosting — domain pointed, forms working, all of it. You leave with a site that actually runs, not a zip file and a shrug.

Why is this worth $350/month when I could build a Wix site for $30?

Because $30 a month buys you a template. It looks like every other contractor's site, buries your towns in the footer, and nobody's watching it. The $350 is for the structure that gets you found, the pages that actually answer your towns' searches, and someone whose whole job is keeping it working — the thing that turns a website into a lead generator. A $30 site is a billboard with a publish button. Ours is a machine that brings in calls.
